The Eighth International Conference on Smart and Sustainable Technologies Splitech 2023, organized by University of Split’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval, brought together distinguished scientists, experts, and public institutions, and the Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia was able to participate.
The conference, which took place from June 20 to 23, featured over 200 scholarly contributions from over 40 nations across the world. The conference’s principal topics were the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, energy, engineering modeling, and e-health.
A free IoT day was hosted on the first day of the conference to link students, scientists, and IoT enthusiasts with corporations, startups, and faculty. Participants got the opportunity to hear lectures on the most recent technical accomplishments during the IoT day. Our scientific associate Dr. Ilija Kamenko provided a presentation titled “Introduction to deep learning”, while IVI’s scientific associate Dr. Milovan Medojevic offered a lecture titled “Design and development of IoT systems for learning in the field of healthcare”.
Cutting-edge scientific research was presented at this year’s Splitech 2023 conference with the goal of creating a forum for the sharing of information and ideas in the field of IoT and related disciplines, as well as the growth of smart and sustainable technologies throughout the world.
